I’m in my mid 40s. I get it.

When i was starting out twenty years ago as an esthetician, I couldn’t understand why women my age now didnt want skincare advice from someone in their 20s. Now I get it.

We’re aging differently than our mothers did. Most of our mothers didnt talk about perimenopause because their mothers didnt. We want to talk about it. And the quiet, exhausting habit of looking at someone else’s photos and wondering why our skin does’t look like hers.

Here’s what I know: Stress ages us faster than anything. A nervous system running on empty shows up on your face, even with the most expensive creams trying to hide it.
